Jerad Speigel | Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Speigel has a long history in developing and leading technology and management consulting firms.  As the CEO at Phase One, Mr. Speigel is responsible for the firm's strategic direction, including growth strategies, investment strategies, and the overall health of the firm.

Mr. Speigel began his career in the process and technology practice at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).  Mr. Speigel specialized in telecommunications technologies and worked with telecommunications clients across the nation.  Following Andersen Consulting, Mr. Speigel was the founder and President of Digital Invoice, Inc, a B2B electronic payment and processing firm.

Mr. Speigel serves on the Executive Board at the TCU Neeley School of Business, and serves on two 1105 Conference Advisory Councils.  Mr. Speigel graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University, where he later received a Masters of Business Administration.  Mr. Speigel was honored as a 2012 Fed 100 award recipient.

Thomas Charuhas | President

Mr. Charuhas is a leader in the use of modern technologies to solve some of the world's most complex challenges.  As the President at Phase One, Mr. Charuhas is responsible for the firm's implementation of corporate strategy and investments.

Mr. Charuhas began his career creating custom software applications, improving software development methodologies, and developing novel systems architecture approaches for Advis Corporation, where he worked closely with a wide range of clients such as Disney, Fannie Mae, and Akamai. He later accepted the position of CIO at GreaterGood.com, where he was responsible for creation and management of the technical organization of this successful cause-based Internet marketing firm. He then served as CEO of Übermind and directed the company’s transformation from a single-technology staffing shop into a comprehensive provider of end-to-end solutions.

Mr. Charuhas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park, and a Master of Computer Science degree from Harvard University.

Paul Murray | Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Murray is a well known leader in the Washington, D.C. area.  As the Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Murray is responsible for the health and growth of Phase One.  Prior to joining Phase One, Paul was Chief Financial Officer at Digital Management Inc. While at DMI, he oversaw tremendous growth of the business as well as completing and integrating 5 strategic acquisitions.  He is currently a finalist for ACG Deal Maker of the Year for 2014. In addition to improving many of the internal processes, he also improved many of the technology systems that the finance department and operations used in relation to financial performance forecasting. Paul has also previously worked with private equity firms, most notably the Gores Group out of Los Angeles, CA where he helped to lead several portfolio companies to successful exits.

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT and a BS in Accounting from the University of Richmond.

Jodi Huston | VP, Services

Ms. Huston is Phase One's Vice President of Services responsible for Strategy, Planning, and Cyber delivery. Her teams provide strategic planning, enterprise architecture, software engineering, program management, strategic communications and cybersecurity support across most Federal Agencies. Driven by a desire to connect disparate organizational functions and optimize processes and services, Ms. Huston has successfully led a range of organizational and technical transformation programs that addressed significant structural, political and programmatic challenges over the past 14 years.

Before joining Phase One, Ms. Huston worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as part of their federal civil aviation team and for Digital Sandbox, a federal risk-management solutions and services firm.

Ms. Huston holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a concentration in economics from the George Washington University.

Terrianne Lord | VP, Solutions

Ms. Lord is Phase One's Vice President of Solutions responsible for delivery management of enterprise Salesforce CRM engagements including Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud implementations. With 20 + years of hands on experience directing, managing and deploying technical solutions on a global scale for Fortune 100 clients in the Public, Private, Non Profit and Telecomm industries. 

Ms. Lord has successfully managed multi-million dollar engagements while assisting clients through business process reengineering, system design and analysis, change management and 3rd party and legacy system integrations. 

Ms. Lord holds a  Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University, and a Masters of Management Information Systems from Bowie State University.

Malcolm Jackson | VP, Strategic Accounts

Mr. Jackson is a Vice President with Phase One who oversees the health and development of key strategic accounts.  Mr. Jackson is responsible for helping clients establish their strategic vision for using new technologies in support of larger company goals. His focus is on IT solutions that support the bottom line through new efficiencies and improved analytics including platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and cybersecurity.

Mr. Jackson has held various senior-level positions at General Dynamics, Quaker Oats, Monsanto, and Shell Oil Company. He was most recently the Chief Technology Officer for Fostersoft, Inc., where he was responsible for designing new client technology to meet the challenges of an ever-changing business environment.

Jackson holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. degree from Jackson State University.

John Low | VP, Corporate Strategy

Mr. Low is a Vice President with Phase One who oversees Corporate Strategy.  In this capacity he works closely with the CEO and across the Executive Team to ensure that Phase One continues to be on the leading edge of IT transformation solutions needed by CIOs and Mission Program Managers across the federal government.

Mr. Low has over 25 years working with IT leaders to help them define their strategic agendas, leverage technologies to transform their organizations, and apply the management discipline to ensure successful outcomes.  He is a recognized expert in a range of IT management functions including IT strategic planning, IT portfolio management, IT governance, change management, and enterprise architecture.  

Mr. Low holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University, and ABD Ph.D. in Public Administration from American University.

Tiffany Ballve | Sr. Director, 
Talent Acquisition

Mrs. Ballve is Phase One’s Senior Director of Talent Acquisition. She has over 15 years of agency and corporate Talent Acquisition (TA) experience in roles from technical recruiter and sourcer to team lead and recruiting manager for consulting and software companies alike.  Mrs. Ballve is keenly adept at building TA functions from the ground up and positioning companies for high-growth periods.  She has years of experience growing and training best in class Recruiting teams and is responsible for the development of the TA infrastructure and Recruiting strategy.  Mrs. Ballve is highly skilled in Employer and Talent Branding and will manage Phase One’s branding efforts across the board.
Mrs. Ballve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a dual minor in Sociology and Information Technology from George Mason University.  She is also an AIRS Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter and Certified LinkedIn Recruiter.

Kirstin Sipes | Director of Human Resources

Ms. Sipes is Phase One’s Director of Human Resources. She has over 15 years of private and public sector Human Resources (HR) experience, working as both an HR professional and a human capital consultant for professional services firms. Ms. Sipes has experience in applying human capital management strategies to enable clients to leverage and align their workforce to meet organizational goals. In her role at Phase One, Ms. Sipes is responsible for the development of HR strategies and the delivery of HR services and programs, recruiting, and corporate training.

Ms. Sipes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from George Mason University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University.
