Phase One Achieves Gold Level Salesforce Consulting Partner Status

Phase One is excited to announce that we have reached Gold Level Salesforce Consulting Partner Status. This catapults Phase One into a small handful of companies with this status and similar expertise in the federal sector. This achievement is the direct result of everyone’s hard work across the firm, and we would like to thank everyone involved. With this new status, we are even more prepared to bring platform as a service (PaaS) solutions to our current (and new!) customers. Phase One has been investing in our capabilities with PaaS for several years—most recently with Salesforce—and it’s great to see these investments pay off.

According to Thomas Charuhas, Chief Solutions Officer, “Our focus has been on using the power of the Salesforce platform to modernize real mission-execution areas for our federal customers, and this Gold Level certification is a natural extension of that. Reaching Gold shows our partners that Phase One has a unique mix of management consulting and technical expertise to provide full-lifecycle solutions."

Phase One is actively promoting Salesforce across the federal sector for many reasons. Salesforce is a low-risk service that maintains a comprehensive security infrastructure (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption), which are monitored and tested on a regular basis. Salesforce cloud-based solutions are FedRAMP-certified and meet strict federal standards for information security.

In addition to the security benefits and flexibility it provides our customers, Salesforce also enables us to provide customers with reduced costs. Independent studies conducted by leading industry analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, and International Data Corporation (IDC) have shown the cost-effectiveness and large ROI potential of the Salesforce platform. With accelerated time-to-market, increased application capacity, and reduced infrastructure costs versus traditional on-premise application development environments, using Salesforce as a platform provides significant upfront and long-term savings relative to the traditional enterprise software model.

Phase One is currently supporting a large federal Salesforce implementation for our customer at USDA. The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and its cooperators issue more than 500,000 certifications, accreditations, registrations, permits, and other licenses (CARPOL) annually. We’re using Salesforce as a platform in support of these efforts. In fact, our architecture delivers nearly all the CARPOL requirements through Salesforce’s out-of-the-box functionality and reuses Salesforce integrations and applications already in production at USDA.

Our solution delivers CARPOL with a modular, reusable system that best suits their needs and can be easily configured by trained analysts to automate processes and implement needed functionality with minimal need for specialist coders. New forms, business rules, workflows, and other functional elements can be quickly developed and deployed. We designed our solution to be intuitive, easy-to-use, easy-to-learn, and capable of ensuring high levels of user adoption and satisfaction.

Phase One is also developing a Salesforce solution for the Social Security Administration (SSA). As an organization that handles sensitive information important to millions of Americans, SSA has a natural aversion to risk. With this in mind, we decided to leverage the many security benefits of Salesforce to provide a solution that is secure, private, scalable, and reliable.

Using Salesforce also provides SSA with adaptability and flexibility. The Salesforce platform has enabled us to easily customize applications to suit SSA’s specific needs. Without the need to perform time-consuming software or hardware implementations, Salesforce solutions can be deployed rapidly, and updates can be implemented immediately. Salesforce deploys all upgrades on their own servers in a backwards compatible manner, so that SSA (and all of our clients) will benefit from new features and functionality as they are added, without additional cost or increased risk.

As Phase One continues to use Salesforce to serve a growing list of diverse clients, we look forward to working with you to maximize the functionality of the platform. “I’m extremely proud of our more than 30 certified Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Architects who have been working with our federal customers to create solutions that maximize benefit, minimize customization, and provide measurable ROI,” says Jerad Speigel, CEO.

As a newly-minted Gold Level Consulting Partner, Phase One has a real opportunity to make a positive impact for our customers and contribute to the success of their missions.
